Develop AI-driven solutions that enhance healthcare access (SDG 3), improve quality education systems (SDG 4), and combat climate change through predictive and sustainable technologies (SDG 13).

Registration Opens

Applications open for all students. Register individually or as a team. Slots are limited — don't wait.

Registration Closes

Last chance to register and submit your team details and preliminary project idea.

25 March 2026 — 09:00 AM

Hackathon Round 1 (PPT Submission) Begins

Inauguration, team check-in, problem statement reveal.
In the first round, teams must prepare and present a PowerPoint (PPT) explaining their idea, approach, and proposed solution.

25–26 March 2026

Hackathon Round 2 (Prototype Development)

Teams from Round 1 will move to the second round, where they will build a working prototype based on their selected domain and the idea presented in their PPT. Teams must develop, test, and refine their solution within the given time and submit the final prototype for evaluation by the judges.

26 March 2026 — 03:00 PM

Final Presentations

Present your project to a distinguished panel of judges. Make it count — you have 5 minutes to impress.

26 March 2026 — 05:00 PM

Winners Announced

Closing ceremony, prize distribution, and celebration. SA-HACKATHON '26 goes into the history books.
